We had a lovely lunch here yesterday with friends. The food was great and Paola is so warm and welcoming. The verdehlo chorizo was my favourite. The food here is a perfect accompaniment to the fabulous wine right next door from Robert Channon’s. View all feedback.
We had the most beautiful lunch at The Winemaker Kitchen. Paola 's menu is cooked with such love and passion I could taste her glorious memories of cooking as a child in her homeland with her mother and grandmothers. For those who know 'Like Water for Chocolate ', you need to come and taste Paola 's greatest ever love affair her food and wine extravaganza. Thank you Paola, Mel and Dante. We will be back. Kxxx.

Absolutely delicious. The prawns in garlic and chilli oil were to die for.
Next visit to the Granite Belt Wine Region MUST include lunch at Paola the Winemaker 's Kitchen- AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the degustation menu that Paola has paired her wine to! Paola is the Chief Winemaker at Robert Channon Winery, and has a flair for cooking with a Spanish influence. I can tell you her food is Devine and made with love and precision. The degustation menu was all so delicious I honestly can 't pick a favourite! An example of the Spanish influence is the melt in your mouth BRAISED BEEF CHEEK served with parsnip, potato mash and CHIMICHURRI SALSA. The Salsa gives it that hit of 'wow factor ' with a traditionally rich meal. This is paired perfectly with the Robert Channon Reserve Shiraz.
