This restaurant was fantastic. beautiful selection of food and excellent service. I had the nachos and sirloin chili were both excellent. swing at this place when they get a chance!
Nice scenic view from the deck. Service was exceptional given how busy it was and friendly waitress doing solo! The Chopped Mexican Salad was huge, filling and delicious.
If you?re there on a Friday or Saturday night, I highly recommend the prime rib! Way better than I expected the peppercorn cream sauce was to die for. The pasta was also very tasty. The salads are over-dressed so ask for dressing on the side. The **** Mary was just average, but the Stanley Mule very tasty. Staff is very friendly kudos to the chef!
Love this place!! The food was great and our waiter was awesome! This place has some great history. The wall in the restaurant is wood and there's a map and history of the town burned into the it. Incredible art and history all in one.
First of all, Lower Stanley is a great little area,we loved the Lower Stanley Country Store right on Rt 75! So much stuff packed in that store, it's awesome, if you need it, they have it!! As for the Mountain Village Restaurant OMG! The decor is beautifully done, see pix. The service was wonderful, wish I took the young man's name, he was so proud of their food when we asked if it was made there, and it was. The portions were huge, the avocado toast, amazing!! Toast piled with homemade avocado spread. A must go, wish were still there to get dinner!
