This is a fantastic place to stay! The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Many little touches added to the charm of the place, especially the delivery of fresh milk and delicious cookies after our long journey. We stayed in the family room, which was beautifully decorated and spacious. The only suggestion I have is to add a small lamp or light on the writing desk to make it easier to use... Great place to lunch as we have done many paintings. a trip to stamford is not complete without a meal at the crown hotel. the personal is attentive and pleasant eating is always excellent.
What a treat! Dropped in by chance tonight and was thoroughly impressed by the wonderful staff, food, drinks and atmosphere. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again.
Myself and my husband come to The Crown Hotel quite often, we always find it a very warm relaxing place to be! The room we stayed in last night had recently been refurbished and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back soon.
Such a welcoming place, staff really cared and so helpful in making a special evening. Food was amazing, plenty of choice.
The staff here are incredible... Nothing was too much for them, they literally couldn't do any more!! They spent ages ringing around trying to find a mobile tyre fitter on a Saturday afternoon to replace a blow out! Food is really good as well and the desserts are even better!
