We have been customers of the Model Fish Bar for a number of years now albeit it only being on an occasional basis, and although the restaurant seating area can... read more We have been customers of the Model Fish Bar for a number of years now albeit it only being on an occasional basis, and although the restaurant seating area can be classed as being on the cramped side at times one big plus point can be said about the establishment, this being that over the lengthy period of time we have have been using it never once have we had a fish chip meal served to us that wasn't cooked properly, which I may say is unfortunately something that we have experienced when having similar type meals in somewhat more select and I may add, considerably higher priced surroundings!!To sum up, not the grandest of surroundings but whats served up, whether on plate or in a take away, is top quality.

One major positive aspect of the restaurant is the spacious seating area. However, we have never had a properly cooked fish and chips meal during our visits. This issue seems to be consistent with our experiences at the restaurant over time.

Despite the cramped seating area, one major adv... read more We have been regular customers at the Model Fish Bar for a number of years, although we only visit occasionally. Despite the cramped seating area, one major advantage of this restaurant is that we have never been served a poorly cooked fish and chip meal during our time there. This is something we have unfortunately experienced at more upscale and expensive establishments. In conclusion, while the ambiance may not be the most luxurious, the quality of the food, whether dining in or for takeout, is top-notch.

The staff were friendly and... read more We enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant. My partner and I ordered a burger and fish and chips, both of which were fantastic. The staff were friendly and polite, making our experience even better. I would highly recommend this place! We stumbled upon it when we were looking for somewhere to eat, especially since the pubs were all full. We're so glad we did, as it was much better than a typical pub lunch.
