The food is amazing and we always leave planning our next visit. The vegetarian dishes are so full of flavor and an excellent choice is you are vegetarian or are not (I am not and these options are superb for omnivores such as myself ? . The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the different options available. Whenever I am in the area, this is where I want to go for food. I’ve made myself hungry writing this and now I am thinking about my next visit!

It is warm, smells delicious when you walk in, service was wonderful, and the food and the flavors were amazing! The wait staff were so kind to my daughter as they knew she was studying Ethiopia, and the father in the family wrote her name in traditional script. We can't wait to go back and hope more people find out about it.

Had you not called back barking at me as if I were a child and you in need of a kennel, I would have returned and continued with the purchase. As I mentioned patience is key, but not a virtue that everyone was gifted with.The gift card was already used, as I purchased it for a friend and I was stating that had I known how difficult the parking was I would not have done so. From the second you walk in you’re immediately greeted with smells and aromas you’ve likely never experienced before. Staff was incredibly helpful in curating our experience. The meats. The vegan sides. Incredible. Just incredible. Thisis a must try if you’re looking for something unique, differentiated, and loaded with culture. Highly recommend.

Very knowledg... read more I have tried one Ethiopian restaurant in New Haven and one in Brooklyn and Teff of Stamford is certainly my favorite! The service was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about the cuisine, had great recommendations, and always checked in as soon as thetable needed more injera bread. I was impressed by the tea and coffee. It was a nice feature that it was served at a perfectdrinking temperature so we didn 't have to wait to enjoy. There were plenty of options for vegetarians and plenty for meateaters. The food was very good! Only thing I did notice was a dish containing egg listed under the vegan section which makesme wonder if other non-vegan ingredients made it into those entrees such as milk or cheese.
