Omg!!! I am eating the best curry chicken ever, right now, while I am writing this review ! The seasoning is making me feel like I’m eating somewhere in Ochie or Negril. The chicken is tender, the rice and peas are delicious. My husband had the Jerk chicken and he says it’s the best he’s had in a while. Plus there is fried jumbo shrimp available every day. If you’re looking for tasty island food, this is the place. View all feedback.

The chicken beef Patty is soooooo bad I can't make this up. I feel like calling the state on this place. This is my third time eating there and I get sick everytime and this will be my last. They are dirty if you value your health do not eat there. Customer service is bad alot of people talk about it. View all feedback.

This place was okay. Pros: Great variety, great price, and ok Service Cons: Sweet Plantains was not sweet, oxtail was over boiled, rice and peas was blande. There are better options in Stamford for Jamaican foods.
I just had the oxtail. The food was decent. Better than expected. Like most Western Indian restaurants, it comes with attitude. You can be rude without reason, especially the older lady. God forbids you to ask for extra engraving or an actual shopping bag. We got there!!! So it's about 7 months since my initial assessment. During this time there was a significant price increase. But some as the recipe has changed. The food served early in the afternoon is completely different from the food served in the evening. Not sure if there is another cook, but there are some clear inconsistencies. Depending on the day and time... the food tastes different.
It is crazy that almost everyone in town, Jamaican or not know what kind of customer service, good lack of customer service to expect when in this restaurant. No one wants blatantly miserable and rude people who take their orders, like you are an annoying, serving your food sloppy or wrestling your order with a stance and screwed face. Everyone goes through something, but I promise you that you don't have it harder than anyone else. If you don't want to do your job, think hard about hiring customer service-oriented employees for your front, so that people don't have to deal with the settings. This is not the only Jamaican restaurant in Stamford let alone Connecticut.
I just went in to this place and waited to order my food and the guy working there took some one else’s order behind me. I have never felt that kind of disrespect, the owner yelled at the man saying he was wrong but still did nothing. I refuse to spend my money there no matter how good the food is. I wish I could give zero stars, I’m in the medical field and I heard the the whole Stamford hospital doesn’t order food from them because of there attitudes. Stay away from this place
