My husband and I came to visit a friend and she brought us here for lunch. The staff showed excellent customer service to start with. We ordered the paan lassi, Shrimp bhuna mirchwala, Chicken Punjab the murgh curry and lamb biriyani. Loved the paan lassi, so different. The curries were good, and the biriyani was amazing. The lamb was beautifully cooked to perfection. They brought boondi raita with it. We asked for p... View all feedback.
I traveled for work and was here 3 years ago before all Covid shutdowns. When I came back this year, I was so glad to see Covid survived. This place has some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. Various spices. Also a BYOB. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often. But anyway, if I'm in town.
We drove from Massachusetts to NJ. But decided to stop here. Thank God. Because this was the hands down THE MOST AUTHENTIC Indian food I had in the United States. For appetizers, pani armi got himself. The water was really good!!! The Gondel Palaces were fresh. Very delicious appetizer. For the net I have a Pyaaz parantha. This came with a side of yogurt, onions chili, Aloo Sabzi and Pickles. The court really came together with all the little details. (At the end, always go a different order. And Chicken Biryani got it. Also came with one side yogurt. That was really good. I wish to arrive regularly near this place. But will definitely come back to this place. Also, call the staff. Really nice and friendly.
Great casusal Dhaba dining room experience, but delightful restaurant style flavors. Pleasant and great service. We had an attentive conversation with the owner Tarun, who has several other restaurants in the CT MA area. We ordered Chicken Tikka. Great tandoor flavor, smoke and carburized, but still delicate inside. Amritsari fish was beautiful with crispy outside and mosit fish inside. I loved byod policy. We paired it with a beautiful bourbon. Bhel puri was crispy and with beautiful spices. Main course had comfort makhani Daal and butter chicken that had the Tangy kick. Garlic naan, laccha parantha was warm and well paired with curries. Definitely recommend for both diving and out. Great place to visit when I return to the city from the bay area.
We stopped here while we drove back home. The place is not so big, but not judge the book through its cover. The food is really good. Did not have such authentic Indian dishes taste for during . The ordering service is very fast. The food was delicious. I want to come back. The price is very decent.
This is one of my favorite “go to” Indian spots in Southern Connecticut. The seasoning is on point… different seasonings for each dish, instead of a generic blend. The lunch special is generous, we usually order the fish which is available on the menu by the register and a side of channa saag. We have always been treated with kindness which matters significantly imo. There’s parking outside and the inner space is clean, cozy and laid back.
