Just an impromptu stop for coffee, but once we saw what was on offer we had to indulge. Home made spinach and ricotta pastry and a particularly delicious sausage roll with home made tomatoe sauce served of course with coffee. Most produce used in The Shoppe is locally sourced and organic. I think lunch has been postponed for a few hours.. And incidentally we enjoyed sitting outside in the cool air with our doggy, next to another family with a pooch. Good to see Australia is becoming more accommodating towards the canines.

We were driving from Port Campbell back to Lorne, and some of the viewing platforms were chilly and cold. When we got to Lavers Hill, we just wanted a good Coffee and a light lunch. WOW!! This Cozy little Café was just the place. A handy car park off the main highway, and they had souvenirs (locally made). along with art and crafts too. The coffee was great, and so was the Excellent service by the Lady of the house, Cashmere, or (Cashy), as she prefers to be called. She explained the foods on display, which were all home made. I just had the home made chunky beef pie, and my wife had the Ricotta and Spinach Pastry parcel. The Food was great, and we met an Irish Couple travelling through the area, so a good place to chat as well. In all a nice place to stop on the journey through Lavers Hill, off the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. We will call in there again next time we are passing by.
