Was Scott Lawrence at Nineteen XIX - St. Albert a mag?
Sunday brunch at XIX St Albert was Delicious! The decor was pleasing and everything was spotless. My Big Breakfast was plenty big and yummy, and my dining partner's Eggs Bene was perfectly prepared. Nothing wrong with service, just not exceptional. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What M Ayash dislikes about Nineteen XIX - St. Albert:
The server and the vibe was great. Ordered caesar, bacon wrapped scallops, Gorgonzola mussels, lamb chops. Caesar salad with garlic roasted chicken was absolutely delicious but this is where it ends the Gorgonzola sauce tasted watered down (although I’ve had it there before and it was phenomenal), the scallops were alright (lacked zestiness), lamb chops were over-cooked. I never mentioned all this to the server and I... View all feedback.

I had the Wagyu-Rind-Gnocchi and can not come about the fact that the Wagyu-Rind was in basic form. I mean, why? What is the point of using a finer bark cut if it's just broken? felt like a bait n' switch. that or the $20 for a glass pinot noir. yiiiikes.
Will recommend xix again and again! we have so much luck in st. albert. eating is always delicious and they change their menu seasonal. service is always great. the atmosphere is the upper pub.
Beautiful atmosphere. crab cake starter was thumbing .. too fishy but main courses impressed!
We had reservations however we spent 10 minutes standing at front waiting for a hostess to seat us (there were plenty of empty tables but she was doubling as a waitress and explained it was busy). Server added still water to our sparkling, there were no tissue or hand towels in the washroom, no decaf coffee made, came after our dessert was finished. This was a special occassion and it felt like we were in a low rate restaurant. Food is generally good here but for the price, there are better options. I'd like to say this is a one off however our last experience was burnt flatbread..
This restaurant has improved greatly since they first opened in St. Albert. Great appetizers and the best wine list in St. Albert!
XIX Nineteen in Dallas has received both positive and mixed reviews from diners. While some have found the brunch offerings to be lacking, with subpar lattes and disappointing avocado toast, others have raved about the rich and intense flavors of the food and the delightful atmosphere. The service has been noted as attentive and consistent, with some diners praising specific servers for making their dining experience special. Overall, XIX Nineteen is recommended for its delicious food, great service, and unique menu offerings. Whether you're looking for a special dinner or a casual meal, XIX Nineteen has something to offer for all occasions.

Having had the good fortune to be treated to a fabulous dinner at XIX Nineteen’s Terwillegar location a while back business dinner so no pics or notes for review), we just had to try their St. Albert location on our recent return trip/food tour in Edmonton. And we’re happy to report that the St. Albert location didn’t disappoint. After having enjoyed some spectacular main plates during our earlier Terwillegar visit the 42 day dry aged Picanha Steak and Chilean Sea Bass were both fabulous) we decided to design our own “tapas style” meal from the St. Albert location’s fascinating Starters selection. But our first order of business was to follow the recommendation of a friend and try their cocktails. They have a small but imaginative selection of craft cocktails, and an equally small but mighty selection of classics. We decided on two from the craft section: a Passion Fruit Piña Colada Martini ‘cause one of us loves all things passion fruit), and; an English Garden ‘cause one of us love all things gin). Both cocktails were outstanding, with special kudos to the mixologist for adding freshly cracked black pepper to the English Garden. We’ve never seen that done before and trust us when we say it takes an already classic cocktail to another level. We ordered four Starters to share: Double Smoked Bacon Wrapped Scallops; Gruyere Cheese Croquettes; Buttermilk Fried Pacific Oysters, and; Gorgonzola Mussels. Everything was accompanied by two glasses of a crisp, delicious New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Every dish was delicious, with particular honours to the Gorgonzola Mussels the accompanying Kennebec Fries were cooked to perfection, always a treat) and the Bacon Wrapped Scallops. And if you haven’t had XIX’s Tomato Bacon Jam you’re missing out.We asked our very attentive server to space the plate into three “courses”, and she and the kitchen team nailed the pacing. This deserves mention because we often ask for this kind of consideration, and all too often the pacing we request breaks down pretty quickly. Our selections allowed us a rare treat dessert! So we chose one liquid option; the Bourbon Cherry Float an insanely delicious Bourbon forward delight), and one more traditional offering; the XIX Signature Warm Butter Cake essentially butter held together by a deeply satisfying cake batter and bathed in fresh berries and coulis so good). If you’re looking for well executed fine dining level food in an upscale but relaxed atmosphere, professional service and fair price for the quality on offer $250 all taxes and gratuity included) you really ought to give XIX Nineteen a go.Highly recommended.
Came here with some friends and was impressed atmosphere and service. Mussels were my favorite ?

I never mentioned all this to the server and I wish I did. Ah well… place is pricey and don’t mind paying as long as the flavour of food reflects it. Hopefully things taste better next time around
This was not what we had expected based on prior reviews. Service was very average and almost condescending at times, we came from Vancouver to experience the great Alberta beef but it was not good at all !!!... the Picanha Steak was not edible, tough, fatty and was not palatable and actually had to be spit up on the plate as it could not be swallowed. The servers only response was , I hoped you enjoyed it , does the Chef not check the plates when returned to the kitchen? I have never complained about a meal or service ever but the poor quality of cut overshadowed the better elements of the meal. Not even a one star with four star prices.

New lobster linguini is amazing!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Honestly, I was really surprised by how disappointing this experience was. The service was excellent, but the food was really bland for a $300 dinner, I expected a much more elevated cuisine. My partner also ended up with a touch of food poisoning from his meal. I have been to this restaurant in the past and loved it, but I likely won’t be returning. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$100+
Holly and her amazing staff give us the most remarkable experience every time we come in! Food is delicious, drinks are fabulous, and service is outstanding! They all make us feel like family, and we look forward to every visit. Can’t wait to come back . Probably tomorrow!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$70–80
Mediocre at best. Fine dining felt like I was at boston pizza. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$50–60

We have been to the Mullen Way location many times and finally were able to try the St. Albert location for lunch today. As expected, it was nothing short of amazing. The decor is high end without being stuffy, the service is first class and the food did not disappoint. My wife and I each had the San Mateo salad with chicken breast and it was superb. I rarely have a salad for a meal, but the San Mateo is so delicious I couldn't pass it up. Our guest had the chicken clubhouse which she said was excellent. We finished with cappuccino's which were as good as we have ever had anywhere. I cannot say enough good things about both locations and it is wonderful to have such a great restaurant for us to enjoy when we are in St. Albert.
We were there recently with a party of 6. One was a vegan and they were very accommodating. The server asked what type of foods she liked and the chef made a dish for her. It was a nice touch. But overall the service was slow. I’ve been multiple times to both locations but haven’t found an entree that I love yet. I do love their warm butter cake dessert.
The service at both locations is consistently attentive and exceptional. Nineteen stands out for its exceptional level of service. During a Sunday night dinner at the original location, the service was quick and efficient, with two servers carefully tending to the tables. The Ahi Tuna Twist ($18) was a standout dish, with spicy Thai noodles topped with seared tuna and cilantro aioli on a bed of Asian slaw. The flavors blended harmoniously, making it a must-try. The Atlantic Lobster Ravioli ($34) had lobster-filled ravioli with spicy prawns and a tomato cream sauce, although the garlic and onions overpowered the lobster flavor. The Hoisin Glazed Beef Short Ribs ($38) were tender and flavorful, served with a side of veggies and jasmine rice that soaked up the delicious sauce perfectly. While the appetizers were always a hit, the search for the perfect entree continues, with brunch being the next culinary adventure to look forward to at Nineteen.
Always hard to accommodate lactose free but didn 't start off as the best experience. Bartender couldn 't work her corkscrew (forgot hers) and then used a coworker 's and left cork in my glass. When asking for a new bottle... 'Is it ok if I strain your wine? ' Responded in a confused way and the manager brought a new bottle.<br/ <br/ Onto the food.<br/ <br/ Not bad. Calamari was fried well and pickled onions and spicy marinara was a nice touch. Ahi Tuna Salad was decent but the tiger prawns were a little bit of a disappointment. Will try this again when not looking for an appetizer on a Wednesday night! Hopefully better...
My friend Amber (you'll remember her from Club du Fromage) recently told me that the XIX Nineteen in St. Albert is her new favourite restaurant. She unabashedly raved about XIX Nineteen, and with good reason. Trusting Amber's culinary instincts, I didn't even peruse the menu in advance. I wanted the experience to be wholly new without having any expectations or knowledge of the restaurant. Because Craig and I decided sort of last minute to have a date night, we ended up with a later reservation, 8:15pm, which we made through the Open Table app. XIX Nineteen is located on the corner of Bellerose Drive and Boudreau Road and is right across the way from OLiV Tasting Room, Careit Urban Deli, and Buco Pizzeria.

Attentive service and wonderful food. They made our special occasion dinner a wonderful night out. Nicholas even brought out a cute sparkler and yummy chocolate to acknowledge our special evening.
This restaurant is a cut above all other restaurants in our area. Great food!
Consistent service and quality makes this a go to for me.
Ejoyed brunch with friends today! Great selection.

This is a high end restaurant (by my standards and they treated us like we were high end people : Service was amazing, and even though we had to wait for a table, they offered free appetizers while we waited. I asked about Gluten free options and the waitress explained what was and wasn't, but also said I could chose pretty much anything and the chefs would adapt. I ate a wonderful custom salmon meal, and my husband had a very tasty steak meal! You can see everything that goes on in the kitchen too, so if your very concerned, you can check for cross contamination as your meal is being served ; The price is steep but it's worth it for a special occasion!
Great restaurant that can cut your food to an allergy. I haven't eaten a problem here many times.

The staff was very knowledgeable about what gf was or could be changed to make it gf. Delicious food, dessert and cocktail. No Gf bread options, but that's good.
