Three non English speaking staff could not understand or answer this simple question.I gave up in the end to much bother.. Did not go first impression all that..
The service at this restaurant is very poor. You must order inside at the bar and get your own drink. The food is basic and not very good, but the ice cream is the standout. However, it is quite expensive. The terrace offers beautiful views.
The best of this place is location and views of the River. We did enjoy the food but you should work on service. It can be a nice restaurant as it does have a potential because of the place.
I first went here to a wedding a few years ago and the food was delicious. Have since been back several times and made use of the tastecard discount. The food is nice but the service could be better and experience is spoilt by staff not understanding how the tastecard works. On two seperate occasions have been told off for either not informing the staff that we planned to use the tastecard or by sitting in the wrong area ! , this is despite booking in advance and mentioning the tastecard at that point. This place has lots of potential, the riverside location is great and they have free parking. Whenever I go there though the place is dead.
You have to drop in, if only to try their fresh cod and chunky chips! Absolutely beautiful and what lovely views of the Thames.
