Came recently after friends said it was good for eating. it is under new management, and they seem to do something that is right, as eating was great with a good busy atmosphere.
Eat? can't check the food because it hadn't arrived after minutes! the excuse that we have a big party was not impressed either.
Very poor. very good in the early days of taking, but now very bad! bar staff ok but eat very poor will not eat it again

George and dragon. Awful food, service and a waitress should not call a customer shug Jan, GEORGE AND DRAGON. The george and dragon, meaford near stone ..........the most awful meal i have every had chicken was dry and hard on the outside veg cooked then reheated under a grill as they had burnt edges and the carrots looked like they had come out of a reduced bag from the supermarket......veg soup tasty and salty and of stilton! and no heating!!!!
