I returned to The Oak House for the second time and once again was impressed by the beautiful setting. The restaurant is clean, modern, and cozy without being too noisy. Seb, who took our order, was delightful and I felt like I could have enjoyed anything on the menu that he brought me. Suzy brought our wine and added to the fun atmosphere of the evening. We shared a lot of laughs with both of them, which was a welcome relief after a stressful day. The chicken roulade we ordered was presented beautifully, cooked perfectly, and tasted delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Visited with my friend. Busy lunch, food was late but worth the wait for the lovely pie and massive lamb, food was delicious with excellent service. The team are so friendly and welcoming, will visit again
Six of us went for a 2-night stay on the 3rd and 4th of November 2023 to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday, and from the check-in to check-out, we all felt like we received 5-star treatment. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and warm. The location was amazing, with the only negative being that a couple of the pool jets were not working. We would like to thank Seb and his team, as well as the amazing female chef from the Oak House restaurant, who made our stay extra special with their humor and outstanding service. Nothing was too much trouble. We also appreciate the birthday cake. Thank you for an amazing stay.

After getting married on the Saturday at Moddershall, myself my husband and mum decided we would like to go back and have some food, booking online was easy and got confirmation straight away the table was booked, as soon as we got there we were looked after by Gemma. Gemma was so attentive, any question about food we asked she knew the answer, the food was amazing and the quality and quantity was spot on, I think due to the treatment given to us by Gemma and the quality of the food the Oak House will be our go to eatery.
