Braxton's On Talbot - St. Thomas

The restaurant looks a bit old but the staff was great and the stir fry was delicious. It's quite so it's a great place to talk.

Been to Braxton's on many occasions in the past 10 yrs. We were disappointed with this visit due to the down turn in quality of meal, service and atmosphere. They have allowed the establishment to get run down.....uncomfortable seating, table not cleaned properly, some TVs not working and pay electronics on the fritz..sorry to see a once favourite of ours in this state..

We stopped for supper at Braxtons recently and it was fajita night so my wife had chicken fajitas which she enjoyed. I had the smoked brisket bacon burger which is smoked beef brisket, bacon and crispy onion straws on a burger with bbq sauce on...it. It was amazing. The only thing the smoked brisket burger could use a little more bbq sauce. The brisket burger was delicious and my new favorite. Service and food were good.

The food was delicious. Very recommended Braxtons. Service is very good. Large selection of food also.

This used to be one of our favourite restaurants for many years, but steadily went downhill the last couple of years. Was impressed with the exterior renos, so thought we’d give the restaurant another chance since it’s under new management. Service was great, but everything...else was mediocre. Started out by having to send an on tap beer back because it was flat, followed by sending back a $7 side Caesar salad because it had literally no dressing on it. The replacement salad was not much better, very dry and tasteless. Entrees were slightly better, good fish chips, bland macaroni cheese, very fatty open faced beef sandwich with cheap bread but tasty gravy, although not enough gravy to soak the bread. Food is very pricy for being sub-par. There are comparable restaurants in town that are cheaper with much better food. We were hoping that Braxton’s would become our go-to place again, but that’s not happening unless they improve the quality of their food and offer more choices. Wish they would bring back the taco salad bowl, used to be my favourite.
