Sails At The Ritz-carlton, St. Thomas

The best restaurant at The Ritz Carlton St Thomas, USVI. The food is better than Essenza and Bleuwater. Great service. The only problem is when the sun goes down the sand firs and mosquitoes come out.

Wow! This was a great restaurant ! They bring in the fresh fish at 4:00 right up to the beach and then turn it into a magnificent gourmet meal. My husband and I both enjoyed the Caribbean lobster tail, prepared perfectly. We have never had such a large tail it must have been 2 lbs each. The quinoa salad with crab was excellent and was beautifully prepared. The service was casual, friendly and very quick. The place was packed and we were so glad we made a reservation. There was live music and this was by far the best restaurant at the Ritz, we were hesitant at first because we usually prefer a more formal dinner but outstanding! Don't miss it

POOR QUALITY FOOD INATTENTIVE SERVICE TOO LOUD PLASTIC CUPS AND PLATES TOO EXPENSIVE SMALL PORTIONS ENOUGH SAID!

Arrived early for our lunch reservation and was turned away at the front gate. We were told the hotel doesn't do lunch reservations. We were non-guests of the hotel, but there was no mention on any restriction when we booked the reservation.

Lunch was wonderful! The food and drinks were excellent! The prices were rather high for the menu, but Sails is a restaurant at the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas. The view is fantastic since it overlooks the caribbean sea and boats. Very busy crowd on the beach. We will definitely return.
