Contribute FeedbackLocal Pizza in St. Petersburg has garnered mixed reactions, showcasing a wide spectrum of experiences. While some diners rave about the delicious offerings, particularly the caprese pizza and friendly service, others express disappointment over average sandwiches and overpriced slices. Many patrons appreciate the quality of the pizza, noting its perfect crust and flavors, while others criticize pricing practices and portion sizes. Ultimately, Local Pizza seems to excel in its pizza game, attracting loyal customers who frequently return, despite the occasional critique regarding some menu items and service inconsistencies. Overall, it remains a popular choice in the community.
I was looking forward to trying out this restaurant for takeout but I was disappointed. I ordered the "baked ziti," which was just plain ziti with red sauce and 2 slices of mozzarella on top in a container. This is not the traditional baked ziti dish - it should have ricotta and seasoning mixed in at the very least (some Parmesan and shredded mozzarella would also be a good addition) and should have more cheese melted throughout, not just a small square stuck on top. To make things worse, the inside was watery.
I ordered a pizza and a sub from this restaurant. I was very disappointed with the sub. I expected more than one slice of each meat on the Italian sub for the prices they charge. The slice of cheese was thicker than all the meats combined on the bread. I understand that we are experiencing inflation, but I hope Local Pizza can do better in the future.
We tried out a restaurant in the St. Petersburg area that serves pizza and other dishes. We decided to get takeout and tried their fried cheese appetizer, a burger, a Cuban sandwich, and a Tiramisu for dessert. The food was surprisingly good for a restaurant that isn't known for their pizza. Our order arrived much quicker than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The delivery driver was also very friendly. We would definitely recommend this place.
This very average tasting $14 sandwich has made my stomach hurt. As you can see, their menu board it doesn't have prices on it for any of the items. I ordered that average sandwich and she told me it was $13 and change. I thought that for that price, Ihope it's good. But again, it tastes like meat and onions and mushrooms that they just threw on the grill and heat it up and putin the bread. If my stomach didn't hurt and they weren't manipulative with the pricing on their menu board, they would havegotten three stars.
Some of the best pizza I?ve had in the are. At $4 a slice it?s well worth the visit. The flop is just right and every bit of the crust has just enough crunch. Will definitely be coming back
