Crafty Crab - St. Petersburg

I went for dinner last night and want to say that the food and service was fantastic. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the staff allowed customers to bring in their dog to dine with them inside the restaurant. The dog was at their table, unleashed, barking at times, and being pet by staff members. I love dogs and have my own, but do I want to be dining inside of a restaurant with others’ pets? Absolutely not. A patio would’ve been an acceptable option, but not inside among other customers trying to enjoy a nice meal. I will not be returning.

The music was lively and the staff, especially the bartender, were excellent. The food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

Before heading back to Tennessee, we were looking to enjoy some delicious seafood and this restaurant definitely delivered. Although my fried crab was a bit mushy, the rest of the food was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the fried oysters. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be dining here.

I can 't say enough good things about our experience at the Crafty Crab! The food was flavorful and delicious. It was the best meal we had while visiting St. Pete (and probably the least expensive as well). Our server Antez was incredible. He had a great personality and really made my gf 's son feel special on his 10th birthday. He brought him a key lime pie with Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate. He even joined us in singing happy birthday and took some pictures of us (including an accidental selfie, lol).All-in-all, we had great food and a great time with Antez. I highly recommend giving them a try. I 'd be a regular if I were a local.

Omg! Love, love this place, the staff very friendly the food.....delicious is an understatement! A definite must try. Will definitely be back on my next vacation.
