Crab Shack - St. Petersburg

I've been trying to stop for years. we sat right away, beverage orders, menus delivered. When our food arrived, it was wonderful. my man, bill, had the boiled seafood plate, I went everything on the fried fish plate. the portions were generously perfectly cooked. we caught it with a little bit of calccake. wonderful experience. jobs well done by chase, lauren mary ann. I was most impressed by the way everyone took care of our table. I'm sure it was a server table, but another server saw our empty plate deleted them. another stopped seeing if we needed something else. if they have not been, please try it (we have been recommended that the weekends are in the usually very busy waiting times can be long). well done.

Very cool quaint restaurant. Loved the oysters the oyster sandwich but didn't like fish tacos. Staff was warm friendly. I'd go back again.

While the food here was largely tasty, for the prices the portions left much to be desired. Also, some of the wait staff wasn't do friendly and seemed super unhappy to be at work. We left a generous tip nonetheless but there could be improvements. Really enjoyed the clam chowder but the oyster stew was actually not amazing and I had to add salt to make it work. Would come back if could take advantage of dining special.

This place is not an imagination when they choose for dating. it is for local people or for fun on the afternoon. I went to lunch with 1 of my fellow worker who was born and raised in tampa. He said Crab-Hack was here for 40 years or more since he was so small. I have my crabcake big, crack outside have a lot of crab meat in which I think that many children will love this food. yumm my friend has all the smoked Mullet fish. everything looks good. I'm coming back.

Eating was very good. we had kicked scallops, who didn't even need a dipping sauce. we also had a big fish sandwich that we shared. it was very tasty without being baked excessively. a great small place for a casual culinary experience.
