Astra Pizza - St. Petersburg

Being from NY we know a little something about good pizza. We finally found a good pie in the Tampa/ St. Pete area. Made me feel at home. Great customer service as well.

Updated review: 5 stars Pizza is great. This remains to be true after several visits. Seriously, one of the better pizzas around. Wings and sauce were ok. Garden salad was fresh, but unremarkable. The meatball sub, was both generous and delicious. The ham and cheese calzone was also fabulous.

NY Style pizza with large slices you can fold. Small local business with the owner working the oven. Never had a bad pizza here.

New York style crust that was slightly over cooked. Good cheese, but toppings were inadequate. Sauce was ok. Slightly overpriced.

Hands down best pizza in St Pete!! I've been coming to astras ever since I moved down from north jersey in 2016 wouldn't go anywhere else!
