Hero Kabab Shawarma - St Petersburg

We were occasional customers of HERO for the past year. Then we were pleasantly surprised to meet the new owner and the healthy changes he had made to improve variety and quality of the menu. Since then we keep returning almost every day and keep ordering different meals. We especially like the Latin variety, their excellent Paella, Tortilla, their Snapper. It is like home cooking, noticeably better than similar restaurants in the area. Everything is fresh, taste delicious and makes you feel good and healthy after the meal. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Honestly I just bought from this place I ended up throwing my sandwich away. The service and the food really aren’t all that. The owner himself fully admitted to me that he knew nothing about the restaurant industry so he has his workers doing just about everything and then he comes out and tells me that all the food can cause some sort of artery damage to your Health. He consistently tried talking to me about all of his food and just kept pushing a conversation and it honestly made me feel very uncomfortable. He told me that the food would take long because they needed to make it pure quality which I thought was cool and then I actually tried the sandwich and it’s a greasy sandwich covered in condiments and the fries were super stale so I don’t understand what I am waiting for. I would not recommend this place. for

Had Tabbouleh and marinated steak sandwich fantastic, for dessert flan. Also tasted the Paella delish

The Shawarma (beef) was excellent and the owner was very nice. I'd definitely recommend this place on Park St.

Delicious and fresh. Lots of wonderful flavors. We tried several meals and loved all of it. Will definitely be back! Get the baklava soo good.
