What User doesn't like about Ihop:
for dinner at 18 o'clock and for at least 15 minutes in the hostess area without greeting or confirmation. at two separate locations made a waitress eye contact with me, but we were never greeted. we finally left. there have been several tables waiting, and I fully understand that you can handle and even expect some longer than normal delays, but at least they acknowledge us and let us know that they will see us wait... Our server was pleasant, but sitting next to us was a group of loud individuals. The staff did not address the disturbance because they were related to the restaurant management. We were promised a free meal for our children with the purchase of 2 entrees, but upon receiving the check, we were informed it was only valid from a specific menu. Meanwhile, the unruly children of the management were given multiple free meals. We will be looking for a different IHOP/Denny's in the future.
I recently had an omelet at this restaurant and noticed that some ingredients were missing. Our server seemed to overlook us multiple times when we tried to get their attention, even though the restaurant was not very busy. One of the employees was seen walking through the dining room wearing earplugs. While I understand that working in a restaurant may not be the most glamorous job, basic work ethics should always be upheld regardless of the setting.
The restaurant offered great food and quick service on a Sunday morning at lunchtime. We were seated promptly and served drinks and hot coffee. The server was friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious!
Return my eggs twice. My dad and I ordered breakfast. Eggs over medium. Eggs were so runny could not eat them. The manager argued with me about medium eggs. My dad's eggs were fine, he ordered medium. Bad service. I'll never eat here again.
Place was dirty as evidenced by tons of food and paper on the floor. Restaurant appeared to be terribly understaffed and the ones that were there seemed to care less. Long wait to get seated. Food quality was definitely subpar. Sausage tasted worse than I had in boot camp and was not edible. Never again, I'll go to Cracker Barrel or Dennys.
