We really enjoy The Dewey! The food is consistently fantastic, the staff is always friendly, and it's the perfect spot for a date night. The espresso martini is to die for! Overall, we give it a 10/10! View all feedback.
What TRAVELINGCWS doesn't like about Dewey:
We've been to the Dewey several times a year since they opened. This visit was somewhat disappointing. They cut the menu for the summer season, and it's disappointing. The wonderful Cesar salad is gone; the only salad choice is a Beet Salad. The appetizers not of interest. They had a catch of the day fish entree, chicken, scallops, steak, and tofu five entrees. I had the Cuban Rubbed Filet of Beef Tenderloin with cho... View all feedback.

I couldn't have asked for a better restaurant. The upstairs terrace is ideal for enjoying cocktails with stunning views of St. Petersburg. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and well-lit. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. I am looking forward to returning.
I won't be returning to the Rooftop Restaurant anytime soon. The atmosphere is fabulous, the service is very good, but I have been disappointed by the drinks, appetizers, and dinners on multiple occasions this summer. I am willing to pay a premium for great food and well-made cocktails, but unfortunately, The Dewey's food quality needs improvement. The prices for the appetizers are too high, especially considering the lackluster quality of the oysters and overcooked grouper. I feel like this restaurant is taking advantage of the local residents and I would rather support other fine dining establishments in the area, even if it means driving further. The menu is limited and the dishes are mediocre for the prices charged. I hope The Dewey will make changes, such as offering gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, in order to bring customers back for more than just a rooftop cocktail experience.
My cousin and I went for brunch last Saturday and had a GREAT experience. Hands down the best restaurant on this side of town. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The Manager came over to check on us multiple times throughout the meal, and the chef even came out to say hello too! Next time I'll be dining on the rooftop bar incredible views! The downstairs restaurant had a great atmosphere upscale with a coastal vibe. I'll definitely be visiting again soon.
This place has a very legit brunch. It's higher end, so I'd dress up a bit to go here. It is beautiful and comfortable inside. The food and service were flawless. I had a cappuccino and the bourbon peach pancakes which were to die for.
