Visited on Labor Day morning, right after opening. There was only one gentleman working, managing both the register and making drinks. While it was clear he was handling a lot on his own, his demeanor wasn’t particularly welcoming, and there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. The drinks were unfortunately mediocre. Our favorite place right off the beach. Locally owned coffee shop and great sandwiches. Baristas are super friendly.
Dude, just don’t work in a customer facing role… Plenty of behind the scenes/desk/wfh jobs. All the bad the reviews remark on how miserable this man is and how it makes ppl super uncomfortable. Customer service is a major part of running a successful business... why spend time and money on opening a business just to drive people away? Coffee is ok, although filled to the top of a take out cup so it goes everywhere is not smart. Juice is too sweet to drink.
I just had my second experience at leaping llama. the place is SO cute and has so much potential. my first visit, the guy working was busy and very unfriendly. I thought maybe he was just overwhelmed or I caught him on a bad day. now after my second experience, I can just confirm this guy is simply unfriendly. considering I was the only person in the cafe. It actually makes me sad for him because he truly seems miserable. he should find something he enjoys doing because this ain’t it!
Coffee was OK, if the manager was more polite I'd be willing to come back. Next time I'm in the area I'll just hit the Starbucks up the road. Just weird vibes when I was in there and looking at other comments doesn't look like I'm the only one.
Delicious and high-quality. The dirty chai latte with soy milk was perfect and not too sweet. Also loved the green smoothie. Bright, clean interior with fast service
