What Dayton Kuhn doesn't like about Happy Corner Restaurant:
Ordered Lamb curry takeaway
Lamb was not edible - just too tough and fat was included. Didn't really taste like lamb the bit I did eat, which has me a bit worried. Doubt if I'll go back.
Took 20 minutes to prepare, although not many customers - don't mind waiting for a nice meal though, but it wasn't.
Girls at the counter were very polite and friendly and price was reasonable View all feedback.
Really tasty eating, but the portions were tiny, how expensive it was. the mapo tofu pork also had almost no gay in it. the food quality cannot fail, although it was cooked nicely, only very poor portions
Lovely food and service, easy to communicate over the phone, although they don't open for dine in at the moment, but surely we will come back again!
Disgusting experience and service. we found happy corner chinese restaurant after we had visited the entertainment book in the late afternoon. we then came to a non-speaking time, so it was quiet. the person who took the order appeared very friendly. until we take away, we studied the menu and then placed an order. Once completed, I asked to use the entertainment book voucher that is entitled to be one of the several meal free, essentially ordering $15 or so from the 70-$80. the friendliness of the demon of the person evaporated quickly and said that it was only for immersion. my mistake – if this is her policy, then fair enough. but we had an extra person to feed home, so I thought that since we were already there, it could not hurt to ask kindly whether it would honor it - others have made it happy earlier. the person who served, went to ask the manager, and on the return seemed more tepid, give a reluctant yes. What then led was a considerable long waiting period, with other customers getting their orders before us, although they after. instead of simply saying no, it seems they decided to protest in form of sabotage. I asked the employee about our order, and they said it was almost done. they then go to the kitchen and bring it out immediately all within 30 seconds. when we were in the car, my wife noticed that the bag was not so warm. the resulting meal times are the worst Chinese we have ever had over decades. we live not far, and still the meal times were stone cold and soggy, with a portion size that was very clear, clearly underfilled the standard size take container that other restaurants jam pack. When you look back at the waiting period, it now seems obvious that it was deliberately stopped sitting, maybe to defy us. a purchase of the entertainment book supports charity and has opened our horizons to taste a series of new and wonderful restaurants, many of which are today frequent visitors. if they have a problem with customers with the book, they are kindly removed from it. if the experience had been positiw, we would certainly have returned because of its favourable situation. Instead, I write this 1 star review here, immediately after the booking of zapatas for the 50th time – a sensational restaurant found on the same book.
Eating is good, but now overpriced. I think they have increased the food prices somewhat too much
The dishes are really good and delicious! The price is suitable as well!
