Hwy 55 - St. Marys

We drove thru city and wanted to try this 50s looking diner. The decor was really neat with photos on the wall of Elvis, etc. looking. The 3 of us each have the American burger, 1 regular and 2 li’l size. I was a little surprised how small the Li’l Burger was. It was good, but not what I expected. The French fries were delicious. Hot and cooked for perfection. Milkshakes were also great.

Sunday with around 16 customers. Burgers and Shakes were good. My self and my three guys ate for $57 after the $10 tip. Price is the new standard I appreciate, but it felt a little high for me. The service was good, but they weren't so busy. The atmosphere should be a 50's theme, but it stops at the decorations. It was just a stand and our lunch. The toilets are also small. A sink, a camode. It was overall clean and tasty. Four stars.

Didn't catch our server name, but it's the best! Very nice, did a wonderful job! The fried pickles are the best my husband and I had in a long time. Very quiet atmosphere, clean, great food and great service

Server was nice. Too nice. Fast service. Cook was good. My fries weren't crispy as I demanded. Water was not filtered. Tatsed very bad Overall, this is a great place to eat.

Great food and a great experience!! I love being in old style hop feeling places. Food was amazing!!
