Exceptional service! I came to enjoy a delightful Sunday Roast and I got just that! Minus the over cooked roast potatoes that were completely overruled by the mouth watering beef! I had a sticky toffee pudding as a dessert which was prevented beautifully and did not disappoint. I will be back again that’s for sure! View all feedback.

Veg on the Sunday dinner was a very small portion not good for the price paid , I agree with previous review about penny pinching Also there is a horrendous smell coming from the downstairs toilet it is disgusting and very off putting View all feedback.
Ulverston has so many pubs, it can be hard to keep up.
The Farmer's has many facets to itIt is a great place for Sunday Lunch, or to go for Diner, but booking is essential.
I am writing this review just over 2 years after the other review on QypeI can only agree with EVERYTHING the previous reviewer stated.
Got lucky with a walk-in booking and both ordered the Fisherman's Salad; fresh, tasty, full of salmon and prawns at a very competitive price
Nice looking gastro pub, the pub food was nice, pretty average though, I suppose the menu in the restaurant area is different. Good atmosphere but slow service and the loos were a little smelly unfortunately. Perhaps it was a bad day, wouldn't put me off going again, all round a nice visit.
