El Burrito Downunder - ST LUCIA

Shame on me that I had known little about Mexican food except for Burritos and nachos. visited the restaurant twice late last year and March this year, and enjoyed both visits very much. At my first visit, I came with a group of friends and we ordered individual dishes and we were happy with the generous portion of each meal. This March, I came here the second time with my family. We ordered six dishes and Mexican soda drinks. The house specials El Burrito Mixto we had were above average and veggie tacos were very nice and light, the chicharrones were crispy and tasty. Overall, it was a very satisfactory dining experience, complemented by great Mexican style decoration.

Our favorite place to go for the best latin american food, staff are always helpful and friendly, would recomend to everyone. if you want to taste original latin food this is the place to go

Stopped here to grab some takeaway on a Friday night after a long drive to Brissy. Food was pretty good. I was surprised at how nice the restaurant looked and would be keen to dine in next time. Staff were friendly as well. Good sized meals and great value for money.

Most Mexican restaurants I have been to in Australia are frankly pretty ordinary, and I tend to feel like I've had my monthly dose of fat in one sitting. Not this one, The food we've had there has been really tasty and not at all fatty. We live locally and are making this one of our favorites. Note the actual restaurant is really nice for eating in , we're just always on the run which is why we get takeaway. Genuinely recommend this place.

We went there on a voucher deal. The food was excellent and the menu very comprehensive. There was a special menu for children, a snack menu, Mexican fare and specials. There is a dessert menu but we didn't try those. we were too full from the entree and main. As a matter of fact we bought 1/2 of the main home for later. We will go back there. The only problem is that the restaurant was downstairs and for those of us with walking issues it was a bit challenging.
