The bar top at this restaurant is unique and entertaining as they clean it every morning and freeze the ceramic, making it a fun novelty. However, it is on the pricier side compared to other bars. The vodka selection is impressive, with over 300 options to choose from. The atmosphere is filled with young urban socialites, giving off a slightly Russian vibe. The staff is friendly, with a pleasant waitress and helpful bartender. Overall, the place is fun but there is something about it that leaves me wanting to retrieve my tracksuit from the cleaners first.
This is the perfect spot for a group outing, especially if not everyone is a sushi fan but there are some who are. I personally enjoyed my burger and intensely seasoned fries! The sushi was reported to be satisfying as well. For dessert, I highly recommend their flourless chocolate cake with the addition of ice cream. Although I didn't try any alcohol, the selection seemed impressive.
Sub Zero Vodka Bar is a unique and fun restaurant that has something for everyone. The drink menu offers a variety of options from around the world. Despite maintaining a late-night crowd, there is still the option to sit down, enjoy appetizers, and have a conversation with your group. The restaurant has an upper class atmosphere, but still manages to make everyone feel welcome. The Toasted Cheese appetizer with side sauce was delicious and the display and presentation were spot on. It's the perfect finger food to go with an adult beverage. The food is great and the drinks are even better. The ambient vibe, with its distinctive blue lighting, sets the mood for a cool experience at Sub Zero Vodka Bar.
Great evening with friends at this restaurant/bar. Our server was super sweet and food was good. The prawn tempura was over fried but the Sushi was fresh. The chili vodka packed a punch. The choice of cocktails and vodka is quite extensive here. They have good vegetarian options like veg sushi rolls, veg tempura, pita with edamame hummus- all very tasty.. The dessert was nothing amazing- cookies and ice cream was totally lackluster and carrot cake didn't taste fresh.
We were driving around the Central West End (it was too hot to walk) and we spotted a parking space and pulled in. We were just down the street from Sub Zero Vodka Bar and decided to pull up a stool at the bar. He ordered a **** mary (I don't remember what kind yes, they have several to choose from) and I ordered the peachy martini. It was delicious and I really had to force myself to sip it, not chug it. We started and shared the jalapeno cheese balls. It comes with a sriracha honey dipping sauce. They were very tasty. Next was the Euclid Roll for me and as usual, the turkey burger for him. There is also a place on the menu where you can build your own burger. He also got a side of onion rings and I got to try one. It was very good. I love the Euclid Roll and I think I order this every time I go there. Dessert? They talked us into it when they said gooey butter cake. I was afraid we would start a fire since we were moving our forks so quickly and they were hitting each other. Would I come back here? Yes and I think I'm going to try to build my own burger. And that's the way it is.
