On a positive note, the customer service was good; there was a young man who was very attentive. Our food was served hot—nothing was cold, which was great. I was surprised that they only forgot my son’s fries. We waited for someone to come out to resolve it, but there were three cars ahead of us in line. What User doesn't like about Steak 'n Shake:
I drove by around 6 PM, and there was no one in line. After sitting in the drive-thru for about 5 minutes, a girl finally came to the speaker and said they were closed, except for takeout orders. What? They really should have a sign saying they're open until 11 PM. Very disappointing customer service. View all feedback.
Came at to pick up a door dash order and there wasn't a soul in sight. I went through drive thru and honked horn but got nothing. It was 11pm and store states it closes at 12am...
I really wish they would close this location back down because their service is absolutely terrible and I hope that anybody that reads these reviews definitely calls in on this store each and every single day because for whatever reason they never have any shakes or chili at this store I hate to see people without a job but this place really puts the name steak and shake in a terrible position I am going to call in on this store each and every day I will also go as forward to call the health department on them I'm not going to stop until this location is completely closed again

Well yesterday I went to Steak and Shake on Bellefontaine Rd. At HWY 270 Nov. 2nd 2021 only two people where working in the store during the Lunch Hour and I'm telling you those guys where great ??? they got the food out it was hot and they had too many customers to be working alone they did a Excuse me Dam Good Job !!! And yes I would send others there to eat I Thank them for having patience with all of us cars in line they got us in and out no problems
Quick courteous service. Food was cooked to order. Gladly will go back to give them my business. Keep up the good work.
