This is a great place, but it would really improve if it became a non-smoking establishment. The drinks are nice, and it’s a perfect spot to visit with a group. View all feedback.
This place is fantastic! We attended a show next door at The Pageant and it was so convenient to head straight to the concert afterward. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and very modern. It was easy to navigate, and parking was excellent—plenty of space in the large lot at the back for both the public and customers. I will definitely be coming back!

Upon arrival, we found a leftover pet toy under the bed, which was off-putting. The shower was surprisingly small, about the size of a phone stand, making it quite difficult to shave my legs. It seems that such constraints are common in city accommodations. At night, the noise level was excessive. We weren't sure if the loud music was coming from the rooftop or the club on the street below. When we checked in, there was no one at the front desk, and we waited for over 10 minutes before being attended to. Overall, the experience did not justify the price. While the common areas were clean and whimsically decorated, the continental breakfast was standard, and there was no housekeeping service unless specifically requested. Unfortunately, we had trash in our room for three days before it was cleared. If we return to St. Louis for business or leisure, we will likely choose a different hotel.

We often stay with the moonrise when we visit our children who are in college in stl. we have always enjoyed everything about the hotel, but we are aware of the weekends. the roofable and non-hotel guests take over at the weekend. parking becomes a big problem in the hotel and the valet service works on a priority basis to park cars at limited safe locations. I was actually in my car on del mar for 10-15 minutes trying to turn into the hotel while the valet jockey non-guest cars around. the valet pushes as many high-end cars in the possession of bar-parantia into the front drive as possible, so the situation is dangerous and extremely uncomfortable for hotel guests, but very profitable for the valet.
