Kaldi's Coffee - St. Louis

So I went to Kaldi's Coffee in the beautiful CityGarden Sculpture Park and it was a great time! Nice interior with virtually 360 views, a really nice Pumpkin Latte and banana chocolate chip bread that was to die for.

The service was slow and the servers didn't greet me or smile. They didn't let me know there was a toaster for the bagel. I was almost finished with my bagel before I even got my coffee. The coffee was awesome.

$8 for a small iced latte that’s mostly ice. The girl at the register was nice. The guy that was the barista had an attitude. I’ve been here twice and both times he had an attitude. When he handed me my drink it was half full and not even full of ice. You pay $1 for alternative milk. I asked if he could top it off with oat milk and he said they have a specific amount of milk that they put in it so he can fill it with ice. I was about to say never mind bc I have oat milk at home but he grabbed it up and filled it with ice anyway and set it back down on the other side of the counter. I had been waiting for this place to open back up bc I live right down the street but I will not be going back. $1 for oat milk and a carton is $3. And your drink is mostly ice. Pass.

I've been a Kaldis fan for years. First time at this location. Love the atmosphere. Beautiful to sit and look out at all sites through plenty of windows. And of course great coffee and pastries.

First day back open (and I live downtown and was excited) and they had a terrible attitude, ordered an iced chai with oat milk which is already overpriced (6.65) and when I asked the employee if I could have a little extra oat milk, he had a bad attitude and said they really don’t do that because it offsets costs, the costs is I already overpaid for this drink. Won’t be returning. Go somewhere else and save your money.
