The kitchen at this restaurant is amazing and the waiting staff is talented. They really understand what "rare" means when you ask for it! One standout dish is the bacon candle on the charcuterie board, it's a transformative moment. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse Bourbon:
The steak were very good in terms of flavor and quality. Chicken pasta were on point however the seared encrusted tuna were too sour not any salt too thick of a cut. Watermelon salad were just okay. View all feedback.
This restaurant is amazing! The food, service, and atmosphere were all superb. Charles was our waiter and he was exceptional. He didn't just serve us a meal, he provided us with a memorable experience. Every dish he recommended was explained with enthusiasm and all exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary.
Celebrate special occasions with an incredible private dining experience at Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse Bourbon Bar near Lafayette Square. Our family's intimate setting, stellar service (thanks, Marcy!), and family-style servings of appetizers, charcuterie, and desserts made my aunt's 79th birthday memorable. The roasted dry rub salmon (served with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes) and cheesecake were personal favorites. Those who opted for the rib-eye or filet also had a savory dining experience. Our server pointed out that Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse and Winnie's Wine Bar are both inspired concepts under Eleven Eleven Mississippi in Lafayette Square. Overall, amazing experience!
The steak was cooked to perfection, the appetizers were delicious, the server provided excellent service, and the bartender was very skilled. The atmosphere in the restaurant was unique and enhanced the overall dining experience. I will definitely be coming back as a loyal customer.
As my last night in St. Louis, I decided to search for the best steak in the city, possibly even at a Top 10 Steakhouse. Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse lived up to its reputation. The service was excellent, the food was very good, and I had a great time with my colleagues. The atmosphere was enjoyable and comfortable. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The fresh bread was light and delicious. We started with a charcuterie board, which was perfect for sharing. The bacon fat candle was a creative touch. The Caesar salad was good, but not outstanding. I ordered the 12oz KC strip, which was cooked well but lacked seasoning on one side. The steak was sourced from Midwest farms and was overall very good. The loaded baked potato was decent but slightly burnt on the bottom. The macaroni and cheese was mediocre, tasting like velveta with melted cheddar. The bread pudding for dessert was tasty, though the bourbon flavor in the sauce was overpowering. Overall, Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse is a good restaurant with a solid steak near downtown St. Louis. I would recommend it to others, but it falls short of being a Top 10 Steakhouse.
This restaurant offers a unique local experience with excellent food and attentive service. Dining in for dinner, the price per person ranges from $50 to $100. The food is rated 5 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a perfect 5. Recommended dishes include the filet and flash fried lemon Brussels sprouts.
