We tried Aliska for the first time today and were very impressed. We ordered the chicken wings with kartoffels and candied yams as sides, and everything was excellent! It is clear that a lot of care and talent went into preparing the food. The atmosphere was unique, with a friendly waitress who made us feel at home. This place is quite amazingly delicious!! The Mac Cheese and fried pickles were my favorite! Go to the mall and get you some, you won’t be disappointed!
A great place I found by accident. I had a beef hot dog with potato salad, sampled the pork steak (will be getting that next time and bought a jar of Ms. Persistent Pineapple Relish. Everything was delicious and Aliska was such a joy to talk with. Go visit her and enjoy the REAL food she has to offer!
Omg. So. Good. I love pickles. Got the pickle mac n cheese! Yas! Beans and corn on the cob. Super awesome soul food. Will come back. Yum.
Excellent food. Excellent service. And a unique experience, over all would definitely recommend to anyone that likes homestyle cooking and pickles.
Stopped by the new location in South County mall today, and I am SOOOO glad I did! The ribs are delicious! The pairing of pickle flavors with different foods is so fun and interesting. Definitely recommend giving it a try, and supporting such a wonderful woman. thank you!
