Try the buttermilk cornmeal pancakes if you're looking for an American breakfast staple with a Midwest twist. They have a house made strawberry jam that makes it just that much better! View all feedback.
What D K doesn't like about Southwest Diner:
Huevos Rancheros was... really bland. The spice level was nice, but everything else fell short. Biscuits and Gravy was decent, but I will absolutely give credit to the biscuit here. Just had breakfast here with some girl friends and besides my silverware being a little dirty everything was great! Would recommend!

Well it happened, even SW Diner fell from grace: raw sausage, wrong order, shorted items, maybe it was too loud to hear. There is plenty of staff but not everyone is working. At least the waiter was smart enough to comp a meal.
Food is literally Southwest. Dont go expecting a regular greasy spoon. Slinger is not a South Side Slinger at all....
A real feel of a Southwesten style restaurant with ample cacti and decor. Spicey choices can be made along with Mexican themed drinks. The experiance was surprisingly fun and delicious ?
