Polite Society - St Louis

The restaurant is a lovely establishment, but I wish it had more options for vegans. While there are vegan lunch choices available, there were no vegan brunch items (except for burgers) or desserts. I would love to see vegan pancakes, French toast, or a vegan cheeseboard on the menu. With a wider range of vegan options, this place could become a fantastic spot for upscale dinners and romantic date nights. I ordered the tour and the Impossible Burger I had was delicious. I opted for mine on rye bread without cheese. The roasted brussels sprouts were just average, I was hoping for something with more flavor. The menu changes seasonally, so I would consider visiting again in different seasons to see what new dishes they offer.

When I informed the server that I was vegan, she enthusiastically went through all the vegan options available and suggested menu items that could be modified to suit my dietary needs. I decided to try one of her recommendations for my meal and it was absolutely delicious! There were also vegan appetizers and desserts to choose from. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary/Valentine's Day with a friend who isn't entirely vegan.

Veggie risotto and crispy broccolini can be easily veganized and are absolutely incredible!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, particularly the stuffed squash which was amazing. The starters, such as the Moroccan carrots and mushroom tempura, were lovely to share. The drinks were creative and phenomenal, and the vegan ice cream from Clementines for dessert was fantastic. The chocolate ice cream was the best I've ever had!

I love this place...many Vegan and vegetarian dishes ! Amazingly friendly staff and just a cozy intimate place ! Highly recommend this restaurant!
