Elite. In food and service. The pasta has me in a chokehold that I never want to get out of! You can tell that the chefs really put their time into designing and preparing the dishes. I go here a lot and this visit was getting dinner with a friend. The server was amazing. She was attentive and never let our water dip below half glass. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, but it was still easy to have a conversation... View all feedback.
What Liz Gray doesn't like about Katie's Pizza Pasta – Rock Hill:
Overall the place was just okay, very overpriced for what you 're getting. It 's not that big inside, they have set up some outdoor seating though. The pizza was flavorful but small for $24. Calamari and as average portion and also $24 so prices definitely on the higher side. Definitely don 't feel the need to go back for anything on the menu. View all feedback.
Great food. Service was very slow as restaurant was not busy. Many tables were open. Don't know what was taking so long
We absolutely love Katie's Pizza! It has become one of the must eat at places when we visit St. Louis. The menu is full of delicious options with creative ingredients. During a previous trip, we had Persimmons for the first time ever. It was also the first time trying Black Garlic, which was on a delightful Kale and Black Garlic Pizza. We tried several Pasta dishes, the Artichoke Ravioli, the Fried Artichokes, and many drinks. They say their Fried Artichokes are famous and after having them, we can understand why. The fresh pasta made in house is a great treat. Havinga Tomato allergy, I was excited to be able to enjoy so many amazing sauce options. For our latest trip, we kept it simple and ordered our favorite Black Garlic and Kale Pizza with a Fried Artichokes Appetizer, along with a few drinks. Every trip has been amazing! Super nice people in a great, relaxing atmosphere that is very clean and well maintained. I look forward to visiting again on our next vacation. It's such a fun place!Vegetarian options: Lots of Vegetarian options that are clearly labeled. Since everything is made in house, they are very knowledgeable about the ingredients and preparation of each dish.
Food was ok. You could definitely tell the pasta was frozen and not fresh. To me, for the price, you have way better options on The Hill than this place. Small portions, they use the same dough for apps as they do the Pizzas. Overall, to me overpriced and not that great.
The staff was really nice but the food was just okay. I did not like strawberry Jam toast my egg was dry with not much flavor. The fruit plate was good. The waitress brought a pancake after I said I didn't like the strawberry toast which was nice. The pancake was good but could have been more moist. The syrup was good. It also was expensive.
We were in a large table with adults and children. The place was kind of empty and they put us on the patio, on a cold day. When we asked if it was possible to move us more into the middle of the place they eventually did it. But not with a friendly face.
