Contribute FeedbackGokul is a charming vegetarian Indian restaurant celebrated for its extensive buffet, including a dedicated vegan night once a week. While it appeals primarily to American palates, offering a variety of tasty vegan and gluten-free options, opinions on the authenticity of flavors vary. Guests appreciate the generous portions and consistently fresh dishes; however, some find certain items lacking in spice and warmth. The friendly staff enhances the experience, going the extra mile to accommodate dietary requests. Gokul provides a welcoming atmosphere that captures the essence of Indian cuisine, making it a worthwhile stop for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts.
Eating is so and very hit or miss here. it is not the best place to go in the city for vegan Indian food. try them bombay food junkies instead.
I never had a bad meal there. without visiting gokul, no trip to the lou is complete! put your meals with waiting staff next to the All-you-can-eat buffet. many vegan choices. this place is certified kosher, so they can be sure that no meat has ever been in the kitchen. these people understand that chicken broth is not vegetarian. not in my budget for every day, but I must visit at least once when I am in the city.
Many options for the whole family including small child. we love to go on Sunday, not full.
I am obsessed with this buffet!! They do NOT serve any meat. I come here often, especially for the Monday night vegan buffet. Great selection and food has always tasted amazing
Tried their fried rice and murtabak!! Wow both very amazing esp their murtabak!! Portion size is also huge so it’s worth your money!!! One bad thing is that it is slightly oily but overall GREAT FOOD
