What Mekenzie L doesn't like about Evangeline's Bistro And Music House:
Our experience at this restaurant was a bit strange, as it seemed like we visited on a slow night with very few customers. The dishes we ordered were bland and not served at the proper temperature. The ingredients used seemed cheap and fatty, especially the chicken which tasted off. When we tried to order a second glass of wine, one of the servers simply handed us the check because it was already prepared. I am givin... View all feedback. What JESSICA likes about Evangeline's Bistro And Music House:
I absolutely adore this restaurant!! Don, the owner, was welcoming and charming. Lizzy, our server, was outstanding. The food was amazing. The music was fantastic. The homemade hot sauce was a delightful addition. What more could you ask for? We will definitely return the next time we are in St. Louis. If we lived here, we would be regulars. Thank you for everything, Don and Lizzy. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in the heart of the Central West End, this restaurant boasts a vibrant atmosphere complemented by live music, making it a popular brunch spot. While many patrons rave about the flavorful dishes and generous portions, some have faced challenges with service and wait times, particularly during peak hours. Despite the occasional hiccup, the welcoming staff, including a charming owner and attentive servers, have earned praise for their hospitality. Guests enjoy a diverse menu with standout items like beignets and jambalaya. Yet, a few critics note the music volume can overshadow conversations. Overall, it's a lively destination worth exploring.
