Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the roll because it felt a bit unbalanced. I've had my fair share of similar rolls before, and this one was served on a delicious baguette. However, the mayonnaise was slathered on too thick, which was overwhelming, and there was no coriander in my roll at all. The menu lists coriander as an ingredient, and I believe its addition would have enhanced the flavors significantly. During a previous visit, I had the same roll, and it was much better. Overall, I feel this place can be quite hit or miss, and perhaps they excel when they truly focus on their crafting...

Just a heads-up about the 'seafood' option: it consists of fish balls rather than actual seafood, at least in the seafood laksa. It's not bad, just differs from my expectations. Overall, it’s a lovely place, and I'm eager to try more of their dishes. However, the wonton noodle soup wasn’t great. The pho remains the best choice.

The service here is outstanding... read more A colleague introduced me to this place last week, and I can't believe I've been passing by it during my lunch breaks for years. The service here is outstanding, and the food is equally impressive. Their banh mi is among the best I've ever tasted. It comes on a warm, crispy baguette and features the perfect balance of well-seasoned crispy pork belly, carrot, daikon, coriander, chili, pâté, mayo, and a delightful sauce. At $7-8, it's great value for such a fresh and flavorful sandwich. This will definitely be a regular stop for me from now on. I just wish I had discovered it sooner!

Compared to other places nearby, the quality of the food is much higher and the prices are more affordable. I've only tried the crispy pork roll so far, and it was fantastic. I can't wait to come here every day to sample everything on the menu!
