Everyone was so nice here and its such a shame that it does not exist anymore :( I used to visit the Espy all the time back in the day! St Kilda hasn't really been the same for me since. They need to get it back up!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Espy Kitchen:
St Kilda's shabby, grungy old Esplanade Hotel is famous as a live music (rock) venue. I don't ever go there at night but once in a while I take visitors in for a look around during the day. I like the remnants of the once-classy hotel this place once was. No classy dining these days. Best parmy I have had in a long time. Real chicken breast! All the steaks were cooked to perfection. Didn't have to wait forever for our food either.

As above, the espy kitchen provides and always has provided totally edible and tasty food at any time of day. Busy or quiet, day or night, its always good.Sounds simple but thats quite a feat.Nice work lads and ladies!Dont miss the parma. Its nice and thick so you know the chicken has been fed steroids and raised in a cage, exactly as i like it.
Finding a location to run a breakfast workshop is difficult, finding one that has great facility, view, and EXCELLENT staff is even harder to find. I run a monthly photography workshop at the upstairs kitchen, and I'm always impressed by the quality of their coffees and breakfast for myself and my participants. Will I go there just for breakfast, of course, will I go back to run my workshops and have my participants dine there, absolutely. Have I mentioned their EXCELLENT staff ?
