excellent coffees served with typical sweets and croassants. try the mocha with caramel and the almond pastry covered with chocolate. do not eistate to ask for advice from the very helpful and nice owners View all feedback.
What a little treasure MWR Cafe is about 40ft up Grey St, just round the corner junction with Fitzroy St in St Kilda West and there's a board outside which tells that it is there. We have stopped there for lunch twice. The first time we had some lovely sourdough baguettes at AUD8 each there are several fillings and we tried both the BLT equivalent and a smoked salmon, rocket creme fraiche. Both great. The second time we went for the express lunch specials at AUD10 each and had a Caesar salad, and a grilled salmon on rocket/peas pesto. Both were generous portions, and beautifully cooked and presented. So there it is great prices, great food and good service. A little treasure the only drawback being that it closes at 2.00 pm every day.
