Miss Fitzys - St Kilda

Told there was a private function and as leaving a person was told no private function here by bar staff. Seemed racial towards my self and my Asian friends

Thursday night dinner for two. Entrees were very small. Only 2 other patrons on the same night. Manager very friendly and waitress too. Mains were small and the side dish ordered to complement was tiny too. Food was like you would get in a reasonable pub. The decor is lovely and there was a live band. It just needed a few more people for the atmosphere and maybe a more experienced chef. Advertised the paddock to plate and locally sourced ingredients. Usually at these types of restaurants the food is better. A little disappointed.

We had a great time ,the meal and staff very excellent and would highly recommend to venue. nice and cosy ambiance .

I met up with a friend for a couple of drinks in the late afternoon which turned into dinner so glad we stayed! The food was amazing! We started with the brussel sprout entree which sounded different with the coconut caramel but it worked so well we almost ordered a second but thought we'd hold off till our mains came. I had the mushroom risotto with a side of the cauliflower gratin to share i couldnt fault it i loved everything. The service was great the waitstaff were attentive without being pushy and made us feel welcome. A big standout was the cocktails! My friend had the expresso martini which is her go to drink and said it was the best shes had so much so had quite a few. I wasnt sure what to have the bartender was very accomodating even though it was a busy night and suggested a take on a margarita with grapefruit which he made up on the spot for me was amazing!. I've asked for one in other venues since and have been left disappointed it didnt compare to Miss Fitzys. Overall a great experience will be back definitely my new haunt!

We didn't wat here just had cocktails after dinner and they were very average cocktails at AU$20 each. They didn't have Espresso Martini on the menu which was odd these days with how popular this cocktail has become. They were able to make one, but I wouldn't rave about it. We had 4 cocktails in total and most were not full the small glasses had a good 2cm gap at the top. At 10pm on a Saturday night you'd expect this place to be packed there was one couple in main restaurant having dinner and us at the bar.
