I recently visited Maxim expecting more for the price paid. The owners/designers have partitioned the tables in different rooms, allowing for privacy for larger parties. However, if you have a small group, you may be cramped at a table meant for four with six people. We enjoyed a variety of delicious Russian dishes such as prawns, calamari, salmon, caviar, and other side treats. The entertainment, including singers and karaoke, had a mostly Russian theme. The highlight of the night was the incredible dancers who first appeared as Air Hostesses, taking us on a journey around the world before transitioning into a stunning Can Can performance in authentic Moulin Rouge costumes. The talented dancers had everyone on their feet, clapping, and having a great time.

The music and dance floor is typical of Russian restaurants, but this one lacked live music. The overall experience was below average and not worth the money.
We went to Maxim with a group of Russian and Polish girls. The restaurant was fairly new but very elegant, and most people were dressed up. Our table was filled with a variety of delicious Russian dishes, and there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne. We were allowed to bring our own vodka and tequila, but the bar also served drinks. The restaurant had a dance floor with stage lighting, a mirror ball (a must for any Russian restaurant), and two talented female singers. We were entertained by a cabaret show performed by two sexy female dancers. We spent a lot of the evening dancing and had a fantastic time - it felt like we were at the Eurovision Song Contest! I highly recommend Maxim for a unique and enjoyable night out.
