What KentBev doesn't like about Leroys:
We haven 't visited here for about three years and were disappointed to find the standards had dropped. Same eclectic decoration but service poor and little understanding of the menu and even less of the difference between gluten free and other food ingredients. The Bagel 'surprise ' was good but other meals not so much. The toilet door was broken and the toilet itself backed up when I flushed it. Not pleasant. Gener... View all feedback.
I decided to stop by this restaurant primarily for their "homemade chai" with a selection of plant milks. I have a hard time finding authentic chai, and this place did not disappoint. I highly recommend it! I also ordered the corn fritters, which were filled with so much corn that the batter just melted in my mouth. It was perfect. I'm glad we decided to keep walking past the other restaurants and discovered this hidden gem. The music was just right, not too loud, which was a nice touch.
The coffee at this restaurant is consistently good, and the kids have plenty of entertainment options in the back. The music can be a bit loud, so it's best to keep phone calls to a minimum. However, the wifi is excellent.
The restaurant has a sign outside advertising their delicious waffles, which are especially enjoyable for those who are gluten-free and vegan.
On my first visit to St Kilda I would walk by this cafe on the way to the shops or to get the tram into Melbourne and then after a few days of my latest visit I had a person who works in a shop close by recommend that I go in and try out there coffee so I decided to go in and try it out and I wasn't disappointed, I only had to wait a few minutes to get my coffee and it was great and then after I finished and paid I was speaking to a lady named Jade who offered me a free coffee I will be back when I come back to Melbourne again
Had coffee here on a Monday morning. Service was very good as was the coffee. We didn’t have any cakes or biscuits. The outside tables and chairs were comfortable but looked a little shabby. The toilet is beyond the kitchen, which looked OK. Good value but no WiFi
