And better for it. Although the staff seemed to be far too young to serve beer and sounded more Home Counties than St Kilda, I enjoyed the visit. Ate a Parma which has to be on the list of things to do here. Boy, it...was a big meal for a very reasonable price. View all feedback.
What Letitia Torphy doesn't like about Iddy Biddy:
I had a Mexican egg benedikt and a glass of red wine. my wife and daughter had regularly benedikt. you had a coffee and an orange juice. that was okay, I wasn't full. the place was quirky. my daughter lives along the street and has gone back several times with her friends. I just left once. the cost was for us to breakfast. View all feedback.
Came down to Iddy Biddy for a weekend lunch and did not expect the quality to be this good.
Specials every night of the week and just around the corner from my place so I love Iddy Biddy.
Putting a few of our favourite things together is always a winner!! @iddybiddybar has an epic range of parma's and this ticks those boxes! Juicy chicken,
What a great little find! We were visiting my sister, and even though she lives in St Kilda, said she'd never been here before - but had always wanted to.Open seating on everything from high stools to low couches and wooden boxes with comfy pillows. Roaring open fire near some of them. Comfy and cozy all round. Some strange decor on the walls and hanging from the ceilings, but this just adds to its overall charm.Love love love the menus (created to fit inside old kids storybooks), and the food was incredible - super fresh and all served poetically on solid wooden boards. We spent the entire evening here - food, conversation, and lots of drinks. As it's all counter service, you pay for everything as you go - watch this, as you may end up spending more than you originally planned (as we did)! And oh! there was live music to boot! Fantastic female singer on guitar, who shared with us everything from the Eagles to Elton John to John Mayer.Totally love this place and would return in a heartbeat!Cons: 1. Very, very dark inside! Mood lighting a little TOO low. 2.Tricky to get back into the bar once you've been outside into the back to use the unisex toilets - I thought I was locked out the first time, but thankfully another patron came to my rescue! 3. Counter service only for food, though it was delivered to our table once ready.Note also parking can be tricky. So either consider coming in by public transport or be prepared to park a little ways away if you want free parking.
We visited on a Monday Night. $6 Imp Pints, and $16 any main. Hugely impressed with this venue. The atmosphere was great - service was quick and the food was great. Look out for other specials on other nights - but if you are in St Kilda on a Monday then this is the place to grab a bite to eat
