What Winnie O doesn't like about Claypots Seafood and Wine Bar:
I always watered to try Cajun Flathead and u checked the availability before I go. But very disappointed that it wasn’t available when I arrived there. Tried another popular item, Moroccan Claypot $30. This Claypot tastes more on sour side which I am not fond of. Wanted to take away back as I find it hard to continue eating but take away box is not available (Maybe due to food safety they don’t provide take away box)... View all feedback. Ate here tonight sublime!!! The staff were so welcoming, especially our server (I think her name was Ruth) who was on the ball and very helpful. Food was incredible, best crab I’ve ever had. Loved the cajun flavour. And the potatoes ! We left so happy. Will definitely be back! Thanks! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.

read moreClaypots in Melbourne used to be a great place known for its fresh seafood and lively atmosphere, but recent reviews suggest it may have lost its charm. Customers complain about long wait times, overpriced dishes, and lackluster service. Some have had trouble even getting in touch with the restaurant. However, there are still positive reviews praising the delicious oysters and garlic prawns, as well as the overall seafood selection. The restaurant seems to be hit or miss, with some diners having a fantastic experience while others vow to never return. Despite the mixed reviews, Claypots remains a popular spot for seafood lovers in St Kilda.
Outstanding f00d and service. Prawns were juicy and flavourful. Fresh seaf00d overall. One of the best restaurants in Melbourne.

read moreClaypots is a great find in the lower St. Kilda. The seafood is fresh, always well cooked and varied. The clay pot dishes are also good, though.
