After stopping at the Green Sleeves Pub for a great meal. We noticed The Martini Bar directly across George St. From us. And that prompted us to consider having some after supper drinks. We were glad we did. Janice had what I believe was a Passion Fruit Martini and I a Sour Apple. They were fantastic and the kicker? Only 7 bucks each! Now at 7 dollars each we decided we needed another, so we opted for the Purple Haze... View all feedback.
What Jessie K doesn't like about Martini:
My husband and I went here this evening. We asked the bartender about their happy hour specials. She told us that the special was anything with Iceberg vodka gin for $5.75. We ordered two elderflower martinis which were with Iceberg vodka (which she made for us). When we asked for our bill it came to almost $30. When we asked our bartender about it she told us the special was not on their martinis. You would think if... View all feedback.

When we asked our bartender about it she told us the special was not on their martinis. You would think if someone asked about the special and then ordered something not on the special you would as least ask before you made them. We even spoke to the manager about it because it made me to mad and he basically wrote us off. We were basically duped for subpar drinks and then snubbed by the manager. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

If on George St. You must stop here the drinks are awesome, the music is good and the staff are top notch. Give it a try.
(4 very good overall to experience George 's Street . It 's right in the heart of George 's Street. It 's larger than most of the other establishments and there 's even dancing: Note: George 's Street is famous for having more Bars per Square Foot than anyway in the world, so it 's fun to check out, but overall it 's generally for the Under 35 crowd; lol
Awful place. I came with 2 friends who are well over legal age and one of the bouncers refused my friend entrance for her valid ID. She had to show them a pay stub from the bar next door that she works at in order to get in. And then after my ID was checked they made me wait to the side for 5 minutes before they accepted my cover money and let me in for. Would not recommend.
I had a regrettable experience with one of the bouncers here. He refused me entry as I approached the door with one of my pals using me as a human crutch. My friend was determined to join us at The Martini Bar. Another pal told the bouncer in question that I was fine but, yes, our buddy was too far gone. That didn't make a difference. It was probably for the best, however, as my admittedly intoxicated pal took a taxi home and then I went on my way to another establishment where I was warmly received. I don't know if I was refused entry because: (1) I was acting as a human crutch; (2) he didn't want to try and figure out whether I was as far gone as my pal; or (3) I was unfashionably attired. As I've been underdressed as a patron of The Martini Bar in the past, I'd imagine that I was refused entry because I was helping a bit of a legless pal who was insistent on trying to get into the bar or because the bouncer just assumed that I must have been as toasted as my friend. Not that it matters much for, as noted, I moved on to another establishment where I was served with a smile after my friend put himself in a cab and went home.
