We recently spent a week in St Johann and were delighted to find this fabulous restaurant! We were a party of 11 and they were so welcoming, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Restaurante normalito en el centro del pueblo, con una agradable terraza. Platos típicos de Tirol con oferta paralela de ensaladas, especialidades holandesas, snack, etc. Comida mediocre y precios bastante elevados. View all feedback.
Bin im Urlaub auf der Suche nach einem gepflegtem Lokal gewesen. Leider für den Gasthof zum Bären entschieden und einen Bärenburger bestellt.Aussehen 3-, Geschmack 3-4, lieblos serviert mit langer Wartezeit.Meine Frau hatte ein Steak auf Toast. Das war ein Grauen. Nix Rindersteak, ein Schweinenackensteak, zäh, sehnig und geschmacklich eine glatte 6.Die Salate zu unserem Essen waren aus dem Eimer.So enttäuscht wurde ich schon lange nicht mehr.
Bei vielen Gaststätten in der Umgebung gab es leider keinen Platz, daher sind wir beim Bären gelandet! Essen war gut, etwas Unorganisiert aber sonst empfehlenswert!
Our group of four stopped into the Baren for dinner during a recent ski holiday. The place was empty, so we were skeptical of what we might encounter. No worries, the food and service exceeded our expectations. Choices included schnitzel, grostel and pork roast - all good!
The place looks like an Austrian traditional restaurant. Food was good, but not out of ordinary. The personnel was nice. It was ok for a dinner. I would not recommend the pasta, the roasted pork with sauce and bread dumpling was quite good.
Great to visit again on latest ski holiday, been coming here for years, always just for drinks. Friendly service and always great music.
