We were visiting the shops of St Jacob's and stopped by Jacob's Grill for lunch as they had a screened in patio and we were not disappointed. Service was fast, friendly and our lunges were served in a timely manner. Fish and Chips, Caesar Salad with chicken, and a Ruben sandwich with fries were all enjoyed by the four of us. Jacob's Grill is a busy place on the main street of a tourist-trap community. The long wait to be seated and to get table service gave us a good chance to see what was wrong. All service aspects of the place are chaotic. We've eaten in enough places over the years to know that Jacob's Grill needs professional management. My husband and I had supper here and it was very goodWe had the pork tenderloin and thai chicken noodles.
2.5 stars - OK food, high prices, poor ambience and mediocre service.
We have come here before when we had a coupon, and did it again this time we had the drunken mussels and the mac and cheese.
Choosing from the menu can be a challenge because every dish is so tasty!
I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. The servers are very friendly and the food is amazing.
