Block 3 always has a great selection of beers that will please literally anyone. There’s a wonderfully crisp lager that will make even the most anti-craft beer friend happy, and I recently had a DIPA that was super easy to drink and tasted fantastic. They’re also super pet friendly and their staff is excellent.Always happy to stop in when we’re in town. Good beer, but customer service could use some work.I hadn 't been to Block 3 since before covid (also, I moved further away). On Friday after work a neighbour and I decided to do a Block 3 run and each fill up 3 growlers (it 's about a 30 minute drive each way). We got there, weren 't really sure if they even filled growlers anymore as that was something that I think was dropped during covid. Guy at the bar (I suspect maybe an owner) was honestly kind of rude about it. Next time can you come in the middle of the day or something when we aren 't busy. I mean, I didn 't see people lined up, and sure there were lots of people there but I wouldn 't say it was packed or anything.. and I don 't think it really took that long, and heck, we were happy to wait if necessary. I still tipped 15% (normally I tip 20% these days) my neighbour did not tip at all.I 'm still giving 3 stars because the beer is good, but the customer service attitude sucks and I honestly can 't say for sure that I 'll go back. There would have been much friendlier ways to communicate a preference to not bring growlers during an inconvenient time for them. I guess we were really putting them out giving them $90 worth of revenue in 5 minutes. Must be nice to have that kind of money then I guess.
Interesting brewery. Neat location. Dog friendly. Great beers. Fun times.
When I'm in St.Jacobs I always stop in to grab my fav beers. One of the best craft breweries in Ontario
The atmosphere is fantastic, and the beer selection is impressive. I particularly enjoy their darker seasonal brews like Through the Quad and The Loneliness. The Finkle Mistress line, which features fruit-infused sour beers, is also intriguing. They usually offer one or two experimental beers that are fun to sample in a flight. Additionally, they now provide ciders and non-alcoholic malt beverages.
It’s a cool spot with an impressive collection of mugs on the wall. The stout was excellent, and I really enjoyed the Offshoot dry cider as well.
