OMG! On a local recommendation I stopped here yesterday for my bi-annual cooler fill of frozen pasties to take home to Northern Lower Michigan. I also bought hot beef pasties that were small called sliders. There were gone before I crossed the Bridge! Now eating the breakfast bacon pastie and my co-workers are in awe! Well done. I’ll never stop anywhere else while in the UP! View all feedback.
What Cynthia Krepp doesn't like about Taste Of The Upper Peninsula:
Pasties had gristle thru out… not good at all. Kind people but I bought a dozen pasties and the people I gave some to agreed. We are used to the ones made with ground beef or beef w no chewy gristle. View all feedback.
Great Hot Pasties, to eat while here and frozen one's to take home.
Mom and pop operation. Very cordial counter person, only 4 booths. Very tasty, large portions!
Amazing pasties! Pretty good sized and the gravy is wonderful also.

Gift shop, liquor store, and pasty restaurant. The pasties were good, though a bit dry. Service was great. An old school roadside tourist trap in the best sense. The only real complaint is the lack of seating. Parking: Lots of parking in back if the front fills up.
